Airport Transfers

The journey from Mahon airport to the resort of Son Bou takes approx. 20 minutes.

Taxis are readily available outside the Arrivals Hall.  The fare will cost approximately €30.00 to Son Bou. Some carriers charge a nominal amount for luggage – approximately €2.00 per item. Most do not provide baby/booster seats.

Car Hire
There are many car hire companies available on-line. We recommend Menorca Rentals. For further information, please visit their web site www.menorcarentals.com.

The journey is very easy to navigate following the directions, however, if you are uncertain about driving, you can always consider making the journey from the airport by taxi, and then hiring a car for a couple of days once you are settled in the resort. A good tip before leaving Mahon airport is to visit the Information Office and pick up a free map of the island.

Apartment Parking

There is parking at the rear of the apartment with access to the complex via steps located on the left hand-side. The apartment is on the second floor directly opposite the pool.

Directions to the Resort and Reception

• As you leave the airport, follow the signs for Mao-Mahon. You will come to a roundabout with a pyramid sculpture in the middle. Take the second exit signposted Ciutadella.
• Continue along this road until you come to another roundabout, which you should go straight over.
• You will go down a hill to another roundabout. At this roundabout you should turn left (second exit), joining the main road (Me-1) towards Ciutadella. Please take care at this junction.
• Continue along this road for approximately 7km (ignoring two turn-off signs for Alaior), until you see an exit for Son Bou/San Jaime on the right. Take this exit.
• At the bottom of this slip road you will come to a roundabout. Turn left, going under the main road, and take the 3rd exit towards Son Bou/San Jaime/Torre Soli Nou.
• Continue along this road for a further 6km until you reach the resort. You will pass through a short stone tunnel, before coming to a roundabout. To locate reception, continue straight on at this roundabout. 
• After approximately 1km, take the 4th road on the left into "Calle Bella Mirada". 
• Reception is on the left.
